There are two subjects I've always been told to avoid whenever possible and they are religion and politics. When it comes to political elections I a firm believer that you can't win no matter who you vote for. It's been my experience that most politicians tell you exactly what they know you want to hear then once they're elected sadly, they get sucked into that vortex of greed and power and their common sense and moral values somehow seem to go right out the window. There probably are a few decent politicians left in this country but they won't go very far in Washington DC unless they're willing to sell their sole to the devil and that's really sad.
I watch the news, I read the newspapers, I search the internet, I do my own homework and when it comes to finding out about the candidates, their beliefs, and their philosophies...I trust no one.
I'm not a conformist and I don't rely on what the news media feeds me. In case you haven't noticed, the news media can be bias. Shock!
Bottom line is be smart about your decisions when, and if, you vote. Pray and ask for guidance before you vote. Don't just vote because you can. Vote because you want to make a change and you want your voice to be heard.
God Bless the U.S.A.
