Why Girls Settle?

I'll never understand why girls settle? Why they settle for loser guys, loser jobs, etc. They sell themselves short and maybe it's because they think they can't do better or maybe it's because that's all they know? But one thing I can tell you for sure is that you can have a great guy, a great job and a great life if you don't settle. I'm proof of that.

I knew from an early age what I wanted in a husband and I didn't settle for anything less. I knew I wanted someone who didn't drink, smoke, or do drugs, someone who had a great job, who could be a great provider, someone who had ambition and was kind-hearted, honest, trustworthy and someone I could share my life with. I feel that I got exactly that.

Of course, it's not been a bed of roses. We've had more than our fair share of ups and downs but in the the long run we took our vows in front of God, friends and family and we meant them. 

I have met many young girls throughout my life who have made bad decisions when it comes to "boyfriends".  They run to the first guy who pays them any attention and tells them they're pretty. I hate to even think this let alone write it but the guys are usually the smarter ones in this situation because they know exactly what to say in order to get the girls to believe them and we all know what that usually leads to???  Come on girls! Love yourself more than that.
