To Bosses everywhere ~ Pay Attention!

Have you ever seen the television show, Undercover Boss?
If so, what's your thoughts on it?
I think it's one of the best shows on TV and it's proof that what most employees want overall from their bosses and superiors is just to be recognized for a job well done.

Most bosses probably have no idea what their employees do and how hard they work. Great employees go out of their way to do a good job and represent the company well so to be recognized for that is a great feeling of validation.
Bosses are usually quick to reprimand and criticize but very slow to praise and recognize.

When it comes to the TV show, Undercover Boss, I think the bosses, without having to give their employees monetary gifts ~ even though I think that's a great idea too, could make their employees very happy by just recognizing them and acknowledging the great job they do.
